[Personality]
Wally has actually changed a bit since where he's taken now. He's a little more mature, and for most of the series, he was very wary of the superhero thing. The reason behind quitting was never fully explained; in the show it said that it was because of school but there may have been other reasons for it. I say this because of those reasons, he tried to distance himself as much as he could except when he had to get back into the fray.
He is very, very protective of Artemis. It was to the extent that he was so concerned for her safety that during an argument with Dick (his best friend), he pushed him into a chair. His temper flared so much that when Dick made a snide comment about something else, Wally lost it and actually pushed him, yelling about how much he was worried about Artemis. He wasn't ever thrilled on their faking her death, but he went with it grudgingly because in the end, it was her decision.
Even his friendships with the Team seemed have suffered somewhat. He isn't seen to be contacting them that much -- but he did keep in contact with Dick as shown in one of the tie-in comics. Other than his attempt at intervening with Roy, he doesn't really socialize with the rest of the old Team. So when I say he cut himself off from the superhero biz, he really cut himself off.
But! He isn't always a sour person. During Summit, he was joking around and having a little bit of fun while they were fighting, and he was having fun with Artemis in Paris as well. There is still a spark of his old self there, but it's mostly covered up by the seriousness of everything that was going on at the time. For the most part, the times that he was the most easygoing was when he was with Artemis. Even as he was disappearing because of the Reach weapon, he was thinking about her, telling Bart and Barry that she'll kill him and told Barry to pass a message on for him.
All in all, Wally has grown up in some respects, but there are still parts of him there still.
[Abilities]
No changes.
[Other important stuff]
Wally's journal will be
stall but that's about it.
[Any questions?]
